The actresses have shared screen space but never came face to face! Veteran actress Vyjayanthimala has reportedly said that Suchitra Sen is without any doubt one of her favorite actresses.
She reportedly added it is a real pity that she never got a chance to meet her in person. The actresses played parallel heroines in Bimal Roy's Devdas.
She adds that she there were occasions where Vyjayanthimala could have a glimpse of Suchitra Sen but there was no meeting on the sets where Suchitra played Paro and Vyjayanthimala was Chandramukhi.
